Properties
PM30 is a kind of high cutting and cold ultra-pure powder metallurgical tool steel containing cobalt, which integrated high toughness and wear resistance, so it has excellent grinding performance. It is very suitable for different types of PVD coating.

Annealing treatment
Cooling to 700¡æ slowly at a rate of 10¡æ/h under protective atmosphere of 850-900¡æ,then air cooling.
Strain relief
Keeping in 600-700¡æ for 2 hours, and cooling to 500¡æ slowly.
Quenching
Preheating in two steps under protective atmosphere, 400-500¡æ and 850-900¡æ, and choosing the right temperature depending on the hardness and then cooling of austenite to 40-50¡æ.
Tempering
560¡æ 3 times, each time for at least 1 hour, cooling to room temperature after each tempered.
